Bidra med feedbackPlaced along the road to the marble, we stopped on board of friends, famous for the meatballs. after a quick aperitif with meatballs and beer we sat at the table, classic mountain dishes based on game and some big dish like asparagus and quail eggs and other, all the delicious courses and beautiful presentation, definitely recommended.
We went to lunch in this restaurant on the road to augrdo, and immediately the reception was great! we chose traditional dishes and were excited about it: on all the famous lamb ribs! we will definitely return to get the rest of the menu. great quality price ratio! Goodbye.
You can 't miss it, it 's on te main way from Belluno to Agordo and if you are going to or back from the ski slopes or the trekking of the day, it is a good way to unwind, relax a have good food. It is definitely not a roomy place but cozy and welcoming with the wooden walls that you expect from a mountain place, the characteristic big ceramic stove is exactly in the center of the main room, where it should be to warm top everyone. Most of the dishes have homemade ingredients or , at least , from the area. There is also a tiny shop just the next door with cheese from the surroundings, honey, liquors and all local specialties. Staff is smily and kind and you will find them running to the small shop to serve you! Price is coherent to quality and you will not regret the stop.
Going to the Veneto mountains? Do not forget to stop for a quick appetiser (meat balls or an unforgettable meal ending up with freshly made “zabaglione”, with a rich selection of wines. Taste also home made smoked trout (much better than smoked salmon! . And, if you drink too much and you cannot drive, you can sleep in renovated confortabile room, before continuing the journey safely from this historical stop over of mail officers where horses could be changed a couple of centuries ago.
The place offers really high-quality meals but with high prices as well. In the overall, I was satisfied with the lunch.
