A, not so hidden, gem in Sorrento just off la strada principal. Elevated but not pretentious, Tasso punches above its weight in all categories. The service was attentive, not smothering, and the server 's patience with our abysmal Italian language skills was most welcome. Mi moglie and I both had La Calabrese which was the best pizza we have had so far down south. The pie was large enough to split for two. Prosecco was excellent and the complimentary limoncello was a delight. Tasso is most certainly our new favorite place in Sorrento, cannot wait to experience the classy atmosphere and delicious fare on our next turn through southern Italy. This restaurant is aimed at tourists. It looks great and is overcrowded with super helpful waiters. The food was good and the general experience was pleasant, not cheap.
