Urgitxieta Jatetxea - Sopela

Our group of friends enjoyed a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. Dinner was preceded by appetizers of shrimp in tempura and croquettes. They were so delicious. The first dishes were exquisite canelones stuffed with crab or a salad made from fresh ingredients along with the home-preserved anchovies. All of the main dishes were abundant and delicious: baked hake and potatoes, cod-stuffed peppers and tongue in sauce. Everyone was pleased with their choices. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample offer of home-made desserts. The problem was deciding which one to order! We settled on tostadas de brioche which were delicious, tiramisu and goxua. All of them were excellent. The above-average food and service made this an excellent value. It was only 22€ including wine on a weekend. We will return!

Spectacular weekend menu, excellent deal. We will repeat again. Everything was delicious, homemade desserts.
