The place itself is great, good beer and food selection. Just something about the service this time wasn't there.

My husband I are in League City for work. We traveled all the way from Idaho. I did a web search for area restaurants looking at all the images people restaurants have posted. If I can see it, I know the quality and can come close on taste. I'm a food snob after culinary school. We chose TJ Reeds Flippers to try out. Wow, what a winer, winner, catfish dinner! We were greeted with the nicest hostess who promised they'd get us fed taken care of. So cute. Our waitress, Maddi, was so sweet answered all my questions (I always have a lot) until we made our final selections. All the staff were attentive friendly and we were asked by 2 other lovely, beautiful actually, staff if we needed anything else how we were doing. I asked about the desserts if they were made in-house. She said yes. I told her this was my first experience eating catfish and it was fantastic! Perfectly Cajun seasoned grilled to perfection. The meat was moist soft. The dirty rice and coleslaw were spot on. As one person took away our last finished plate, the waitress set a delightful overflowing banana pudding Nilla wafer dessert for 2 in front of us! Damn! So full of flavor, crunch creamy goodness. What a perfect meal. We couldn't have been more satisfied and pleased.

Food, service and atmosphere were AMAZING! The oysters I ordered melted in my mouth. Best I’ve had so far. I tried a little of everyone’s food and it was all the bomb. The owner Nisha is so sweet and very attentive to her customers. All of her workers were awesome as well. They took care of everyone not just their individual tables. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

First of all the owner was very very nice and hard working. Margaritas worst I have ever tasted. Something completely wrong with it, perhaps the mix. Spicey shrimp i had was perfect except only 6-7 came for 18$. Wild rice perfect. Tater tots extremely greasy. I did order extra wild rice since it was good but came with no utensils no big deal. Wife got a salad but no dressing came. Very first time in my life I left with 0$ tip. waitress was very young very nice she had so much to do but mostly very careless and non caring. Disturbing experience. I do love the shrimp just want more of it. I love the owner. She needs better help.

I usually don't give 5 stars but this will be my first time ever only because there is always room for improvement. Love this place from the moment you walk in with a greeting and the owner she was amazing. The food was seasoned and delicious. The shakes and whiskey cake were awesome too. The pictures shows no justice as we were near finished. You won't go wrong with anything on the menu, just depends on how hungry you are. There is a huge difference in the fish poboy sizes. Will be back and I've already recommended this place as a must to family members. Great place for parties as the menu has something for everyone.
