Wangs Fast Food - Somerville

Fantastic place! The dumplings were a bit disappointing, but the sweet and tangy chicken was excellent. My friend, who is particular about Chinese food, really enjoyed it. Plus, it's very affordable!

I have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars at Wang's without any regrets. Her bamboo shoot soup is as authentic as you can find outside of Taiwan, which brings immense joy to my mother-in-law. I prefer her bamboo and broccoli dish, although it has recently gotten pricier. Their chow fun, spicy chili chicken, and hot and sour soup are also my go-to favorites, and don't get me started on the wings—I could write a whole love story about them! I used to enjoy getting free pork dumplings with my orders, but they’ve tightened the belt since COVID. Still, it’s all worth it to bring everything together.
