Bidra med feedbackRichest chocolate, everything made fresh on the spot. Expensive, but well worth the price. It is not mass produced, so that's why the price.
I've been going here since they were a small pop-up shop near Aeronaut Brewing. When they first opened, I thought $5 for a small chocolate was expensive. After going there more recently, I discovered they are now $40 for a box of 4!Is it worth it? I have bought chocolates from nearly everywhere in Boston. I have also lived in Paris and Switzerland and had the chocolates there. Gate Commes Des Filles is good, but they are not great. As you might expect, the chocolates are richly flavored and well made, but a little uninspiring. And I do not look forward to eating them in the same way that I love some other desserts.Overall, although money is not really an issue, I find it extremely difficult to justify spending so much money, and I don't think I will return anytime soon.
Easy to miss small chocolate shop at the Bow Market. I was browsing the shops and decided to grab a quick sweet snack from the market. This shop is known for their chocolate bon bons but they also sell brownies, cookies, and mousse. I ordered their chocolate chip cookie to go as there is no indoor seating. The cookie is pricy but it is very decadent, made with high quality chocolate. Would love to try their other offerings the next time I'm in the area.
This hot chocolate is massively overrated. I 've seen location on many Best Hot Chocolate in Boston lists, and it 's placement is baffling. If you 're coming here for the hot chocolate, don 't. Several other viable options nearby, especially LA Burdicks. Not to mention it was incredibly expensive. A cookie and two hot chocolates were $40. ????????? hot chocolate connoisseur
Located right inside of Bow market. Such an adorable variety of shops. Gâté comme des filles means spoiled like the girls. It gets a great sense of indulgence and luxury in their chocolates. We got a delicious brownie that was so decadent. Would definitely recommend this cute little shop! It's right inside of Bow Market so it's accessible by Union Square station or you could drive in! Parking may be a little tough to find though.
