Bidra med feedbackTasty kottu poratta and biryani. Could have done better with dessert though. But that probably just me being picky dessert eater.
Went here for the first time recently and am kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Everything was absolutely delicious, the best Indian food I have ever had. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Would highly recommend checking this place out!
Best Indian food I’ve had in my life! I cannot rave enough about it! I’ve been here many times and I have meant to write a great review! From the pleasant atmosphere while coming in, to being seated and then waiting to be served the best Indian food in town…hands down worth waiting for and diving into! Mouth watering food that will leave you coming back to this place again and again many times in the future! : bring your family and friends to try this new experience because you won’t regret it! Worth a Google! : Do it!
I did not have high expectations going into this place. Thought it would be like 50 other Indian places in NJ. And Boy was I wrong.Ordered Masala crab, pepper chicken, Chicken Biryani, Ceylon parotta and Malabar parotta. The Masala Crab, man o man, the yummiest crab curry I have tasted. It comes with a lot of gravy. It's expensive but it's worth every penny. The gravy is so flavorful with a distinct crab kick. The crab meat is well cooked and delicious. I could give 5 stars only for this dish. The pepper chicken is a cherry to a wonderful sundae on top of a regular sundae called the Masala crab.Sadly, the Biryani lacks flavour and Malabar parotta lacks the distinct flakiness, Both of them are a let down to an otherwise spotless dinner. The ambience is traditional South Indian, which is rare and the service is good. Overall, a must visit.
Banana/Plantain leaf meal is not worth the price. Taste for veg was below average. Non veg taste was average or slightly above average.Veg: $25Non-Veg: $30Veg: Very limited choices for veg. Buffets cost much cheaper and has a lot of options/food choices.Non-veg: They serve the entire veg items to the Non veg meal as well, and start serving non-veg only at the end. By that time, the appetite for eating non-veg would be very low. Non-veg lovers, make sure to not take any veg items until they serve non-veg. Service was also very very slow, and we did not feel like eating after a while. After serving curd rice, dessert(payasam), they got fish curry and few other non-veg items. We were not aware of what all items are there in the meal, until they used to get it, in horrible ordering.Key: Not worth for veg. Non veg lovers, say no to most veg items and take only non-veg. Ask what all items do they have before you start, so that you know what all you like, and can keep appetite for what you like, rather than just eat what they keep serving.
