Seabrook Hotel - Somerset

The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes that are well-prepared and generously portioned. The prices are average for the industry, but the drinks left something to be desired. Unfortunately, the dining area is not very inviting - it is dark, outdated, and in need of a makeover. The carpets are worn and some parts of the room are uncomfortably cold. It is clear that the dining room is in urgent need of renovation to make it more modern and welcoming. Additionally, some of the older male staff seemed disinterested in their work, while a younger man and woman were more energetic and pleasant.

We visited this restaurant for my friend's birthday and found it to be a nice hotel. The prices were average, with a wide selection of dishes on the menu. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The food was tasty and served promptly. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

I hadn't been to Seabrook Hotel in a few years, but after receiving an invitation to dinner with my family, I was excited for the night ahead. The menu was extensive, with some items on the pricier side for what seemed like basic pub food such as roasted fish, chips, and carveries. However, there were other options available to choose from. One family member decided to order the 20 scallops for $25 deal, which we all ended up taste-testing since the portion was quite large and delicious. My husband enjoyed the $17 hot cake, while the rest of the family tried different carving options. I opted for the salmon, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The garlic sauce was bland, leaving the salmon flavorless. After discreetly returning my meal after just two bites, I was given a sincere apology and offered a replacement or a refund. I appreciated the gesture and chose the refund. I hope the restaurant considers toning down the heavy, bland sauces on their dishes based on my experience and others' similar comments. Despite the disappointment with my meal, the evening was enjoyable thanks to great company and friendly staff.

Has heard good things, but not be back. The $17 special and after waiting received meals that were boiled over and had warm salad. The meal my son had was full of fat and tasted old

Ordered ,meals, including a stir fry, which i have had in the past. This was a very small serve, yet just under $30. My son's $17 meal was much larger. It tasted ok, but the texture felt like it may of been reheated. I could...of bought a better sir fry from noodle box, twice the size, for half the price. Very disappointed. The restaurant also need to improve on the salad choices, as even though self serve bars are currently not operating, not a lot of choice for those on a special diet, that cannot eat creamy or cheese filled salads. Staff were friendly as they always are, but food needs improving.
