Bidra med feedbackIm basing my review purely on their drinks.. and ziti. The natural fruit juices are so delicious.. I'll come back just to get them and it'll help me lose weight. The staff were nice, gave me recommendations. The penne was also good. But I want to try the salads.. they look awesome
I ordered delivery via Grub Hub when I was recovering from allergies and was really happy with my food. My Tex-Mex wrap was a little spicy and while I wasn't a big fan of the type of wrap I chose you can select other ones from regular, wheat, etc... I also went with a baked potato as my side, although I would have went preferred a sweet potato. It was a nice size as a side. I was actually really surprised with the overall choices of sides they let you choose from. As far as taste I'd be more likely to order a different wrap, but it was still good. I'd like to try some others. I also ordered a chicken Caesar wrap for my husband, which looked good. I tried the side of pasta salad he had and it was pretty good. I like that I can order healthier options than something super high in carbs and no protein from other delivery. MMG puts their food in nice containers rather than the styrofoam or foil so you have an option to eat out of it easier and put away leftovers in a nice container while still being able to reuse it later. Since they do such a nice job, it got me thinking that this could really give the food delivery meal services a run for their money. That's my take anyhow.
Our dining experience at the MMC was somewhat of a dissapointment. As you enter the restaurant your ears are accosted by the sound of a very raw genre of rap music. MMG is a great concept but unfortunately has some flaws in flavor, price, and food preparation. The turkey taco salad that I ate was somewhat bland and tasteless. The sting of the $9.99 price for this disspointment was only magnefied by my being charged an additional $50 for salad dressing!!! Who charges extra for salad dressing when you order a salad? The MMG signature wraps that were ordered were reported to be tasty the only saving grace of our dining experience. Another disappointment was the turkey chili, the large size was rather small for the $4.95 being charged and was bland. The order of natchos that we ordered for $7.50 contained six (6) chips!!! The low calorie content of the food is mostly accomplished by using a lot of items of the fat free variety ie; fat free cheeses, and dressing. Another really big disappointment was the temperature that the food was served. The location that we unwrapped the food to have lunch at was only a few blocks away but all the food was cold and had to be microwaved before eating it.
This place always looks closed due to their tinted/dark windows but they're open. We stopped in here on a weeknight, it was dead. But our food came pretty quick. I got the Arizona with chicken and the boyfriend got a wrap with a baked potato. Everything was delicious. My meal was really filling, i didn't even finish it. Place was clean. Lots of drink/snack options. We tried Lenny's cookies too. They were tasty. No complaints.
I've been ordering from maker grill for years now, but only in Nj. I don't believe they've expanded past south jersey but don't quote me in that. I usually order the chicken wraps and smoothies.
