Bidra med feedbackWe came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There was a short line, but we didn't wait more than 10 minutes. The food and the coffee were delicious! Also, our server was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean. Nothing bad to say. I will come back.
We came here after spending a few days in Buellton with the family. We wanted to stop in Solvang for breakfast and we had the dog so we needed a pet friendly restaurant for breakfast. They greeted us at the entrance and confirmed we could sit outside with the dog. Great! Staff was awesome, very patient, friendly and gave great service. We had the French toast, kids had eggs. We were all fighting for the bacon because it was delicious. I have a friend who raves about the meatloaf here too, but I'm not really a meatloaf kind of guy. I have some respect for myself, but to each his own. We enjoyed our meal, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We'd definitely come back whenever we are in town.
Food was ok not much variety. The same spicy chicken that's in the salad is in the biscuit and the kids tenders (minus the spice). The Gravy looked good but was on the dry side not very creamy but thick. Service was good although the hostess was not overly welcoming.
I either give a good review or a bad review. It's hard to give an in between review unless I think a restaurant, that I like, can make improvements. This is a good review. ; . We spent a night down the street coming in from Santa Barbara and was looking for breakfast. Walked up Mission Street and saw the garden area of Succulent. This decision was easy for me already because I absolutely love plants. There was a little bit of a wait. We didn't mind during this pandemic. Once seated, we reviewed the menu and ordered right away. All great things. Had two mimosas, Eggs Benedict, and a Cobb Salad. The waiter was pleasant and our food options were great. A photo added as evidence. :
Great spot for breakfast/brunch or dinner. Make sure to request outdoor seating rather than indoor. Better atmosphere and aesthetic when you sit outside (if you care for that). Bar inside the restaurant. The slow roasted pulled pork sandwich was amazing! The brioche bun was fresh and buttery and the pork wasn't oversaturated with BBQ sauce. The mustard slaw was a great addition as well. The Cali benedict was good, however, the poached eggs were overcooked; there was no runny yolk. The egg whites were nice and firm though. Still a great dish! I also got this one cocktail and it was really good, but I can't remember the name. All I know is that it was green and it tasted like soda?? (not helpful at all I know).
