Coast Range - SOLVANG

Small town in wine courty, our favorite wines, Christmas themed but the food CR was prepared by a chef.

Just finished a meal there and was told by the manager that he will comp it because it doesn’t matter. This is after listing the numerous issues with our experience including being sat for about 10 minutes with no greeting or server, a broken cocktail glass rim, server who didn’t have a clue as to who we were or what we wanted, food that was just average at best. If this is a Michelin star, then the person responsible for giving these stars out should be fired. Felt like going to Applebees but with the expectations of fine dining. What a joke.

Called for a reservation. Woman was extremely rude on the phone. Passively telling us not to come. When we asked to walk in at 5pm. The art of hospitality clearly hasn’t made it to this establishment and her thick skull. People ask me for recommendations all the time, Coast Range will be recommended as Coast Server Rage. Too bad.

We show up and we 're told there 's a 10min wait , but there are NO TABLES being used and we are not given any reason. We wait ten minutes and then decide that they are not worth it. Very disappointing. Why make people wait 10+ minutes when four servers are walking

Came with my family for the first time, we were able to find this place being to no wait time compared to the other nearby breakfast/brunch spots.Right from the start the front desk girl had no energy very dry seemed annoyed. They were not busy at all only a few people dining in and plenty of staff just standing around. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. No one was smiling or greeting. Needs a lot of improvement as far as customer service goes.Food was alright, wouldn’t come back not due to the food being okay but due to the customer service being awful for a supposedly fancy restaurant.
