Anglers Seafood And Grill - Solomons

We ate at the Angler on July 29th, Monday, and everything was good except what my wife and daughter ordered. They both got the shrimp imperial, and the sauce was very runny where it is supposed to be of a thicker consistency. Last year when they got the same thing, the sauce was made just right. Hopefully this problem will be resolved. George Zourides.

Service was great, good vibes, dining is right on the pier, and pictures taken by Hollywood picture are great quality! Highly recommend this place after a jet ski ride

Anchored at Solomans Island right outside Anglers Seafood. There was a dingy dock we could tie up to. The staff was super friendly. Very casual atmosphere. My Gin and Tonic was perfect. The rockfish bites were delicious. Great ending to a long sail.

I was hesitant to bring my S/O here for an early Fathers Day lunch based on some reviews, but Anglers did NOT disappoint! The food was amazing! I HAVE to say, the crab dip was definitely tasty, but came to us lukewarm…. it would have been SOOO much better if it were hot, I believe it. lol! Everything else was great. In addition to the crab dip, we also ordered the Boom Boom shrimp (AMAZING!! and the Seafood Platter! Food, drinks (we each had two “Big Fellas”; shout out to the bartender! , watching the boats pull back into the pier, etc. We were greeted with a rather rude “seat yourself” from a slim brunette on staff this Saturday (6/15 about 5:15pm near the door where there was a sign that said “come inside to be seated” haha!! HOWEVER, our waitress, Ms. Kat… *chef’s kiss*!! She is beautiful and SO sweet!! She made sure to check on us after we had our apps, food and everything in between!! As a former bartender of 10 years, I know it is HARD to find good folks in the industry after COVID… Ms. Kat is a GEM!!!! I hope Anglers know how lucky they are to have someone like her on staff!!!! If you visit, ask for KAT!!! I will be back mostly bc of her!!

Service was terrible, waited a very long time for our food with only a few tables full. Got the rockfish sandwich, it was way overcooked and fries were cold. Had to ask for silverware after we got our food along with condiments. I tried this place last year wasn't happy, figured I would give it a try again. Totally disappointed and will never go back!
