Boxtrees Indian Takeaway - Solihull

I ordered a take away, (I've yet to eat in the restaurant). I ordered the set menu for 2 people. Poppadoms were nice but the sauce that came with it was watered down. Starter was really good (chicken tikka puree and chicken pakora) Unfortunately the main I ordered (Naga chicken and chicken massala), seemed like they were watered down. The massala wasn't great and the Naga was more like a watery madras which is a shame as I eat alot of Naga dishes and by far this wasn't the best I've eaten! Box trees I think you can do better than this as your pizza's are amazing and are 10/10. As for your Indian food so far its been disappointing! We came from Liverpool to attend my grandads birthday meal and the food and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic! The staff were super friendly and very attentive. It made the 3 hour journey (due to traffic) worth it! So a big thank you and we WILL be coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Small nann breads and only a few slides of chicken in the curries. Nice taste but very disappointing meat content and nanny bread size. Luckily we had some more nann breads in the freezer. Definitely won't be going back Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3
