Fopla Da Gelsi - Solignano

If you make your way to this often overlooked part of italy you have to come to this place it is really spectacular. Everyone from around there goes for special meals. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place, very scenic, to have either lunch or dinner. All the dishes are completely homemade and superb quality. The service was excellent. Good wine available. Really recommend the antipasti served with torta fritta and her pasta dishes are exquisite. The main courses were grand too yet by this stage are so full. Go hungry. Reasonably priced too.

Wow, what a good time we had here! I realize that all the other reviews are in Italian, by Italians, but that should only go to show you that this restaurant is truly authentic. At the end of the lunch, we found that our waitress spoke very nice English, and the owner said that although she doesn't speak English herself, there's almost always someone who does. It would help to brush up your language skills, since there's no written menu. It can make you uneasy, too, that you don't know the prices, but here there's no worry. We split an antipasto fresh delicate ham, coppa, spalla, head cheese, the lightest and best little fritters I ever had, and polenta with mushroom sauce. Then they offered 3 primi: tortelli with chard and ricotta, tortelli with ham in leek sauce, and tagliolini with mushrooms or you could order a combination of all three. Of course, we each got the three combo, and they were spectacular. Even though that was more than enough, we also got a plate of stuffed veal to share, which was just great, with a nice cheesy stuffing. Coffee and digestives to end, and the whole bill for two very satisfied people one antipasto, two primi, one secondo, water, 1/2 l. of wine was 44E. So follow the signs down the narrow road and have fun!

All beautiful... from the reception to the account...passing from a great local cuisine! appetizer with fried cake and meats...top! polenta with mushrooms to try and apotheosis with herbal tortelli of a unique taste and delicacy. to recommend but above all...to return!

Perfect dinner, very good herbal tortelli but what arrived after was a growing in taste and quantity. cutters to mushrooms really stunning double bis, second hare and wild boar with excellent polenta, tasty soft tenses really perfect delicate harmonious in the tan and aromatization, never eaten so balanced. Sweets to the height. definitely a great dinner, very fast, organized, euro per person including digestives (no wines). These are people who have to teach catering, because to give so much (quality, care, work and abundant portions, not last fast and courteous service) and well to the last arrivals of a Saturday evening means to have achieved perfection. clean, friendly, friendly staff and prepared. I'm really a perfect war machine. Very good.
