Karavaan - Sohna Sub-District

Dropped in at the Karavaan after reading the reviews. Turned out to be a smallish restaurant and completely empty when we trooped in on a weekday. Service with a smile seemed to be the motto everywhere. Ordered galouti kebabs for starters, Murgh Tikka masala, dak and a variety of rotis. Food came promptly and was generally appreciated by the company. Prices were reasonable and the servings were quite generous. Would definitely go back again for more if I'm in the vicinity

I have been looking at this restaurant for a long while, and one day I booked my table there. <br/ <br/ I am surprised it was empty because the food is excellent. I told the waiter that I did not want anything with too much masala. He recommended the murg kurchan thali. This is enough for two people. <br/ <br/ The chicken and the dal had lots of flavours. There is no chana dal in the kali dal, so anyone who is allergic to chana dal is safe. <br/ <br/ The service is friendly. <br/ <br/ I definitely recommend this restaurant

Great place for non veg food. We have been to this place four to five times now and it has never disappointed us. They treat you with one of the best niharis in Gurgaon. Briyani and rarah gosht is great too. Together with their really courteous staff and a peaceful and positive environment, this place offers a great all round culinary experience.

What a soothing place! One should definitely check out this place for the love of north indian food. I read that Chinese served here is great but I haven't tasted it so will edit my post after making a second visit. : Now, about Food, Ambiance and Service We ordered Paneer Khurchan thali (sufficient for 2 people and we loved it. Must try Pudina Paramtha. Daal Karwan is different form other Dal makhni you get in the restaurants, less creamy and heavy. Therefore, it was a nice change.If you are Non vegetarian do try their butter chicken, Keema Naan , Rarrah Ghost (based on friend's experience : Soft music adds to the Ambience and apart from the food , best thing is Kaarvan's service one of the best services experienced.
