Just had lunch at the recently opened Mandarin Chinese restaurant at the Food court of the Mall of Muscat, we had previously eaten at the Mandarin in Sohar and had loved the food. The Mall of Muscat outlet has an elaborate menu with fish,chicken and lots of veg options. Lots of combo options also. We had 2 combos which included wonton, spring roll,2 main courses which you could choose, we had kung pao chicken and chilli chicken in one and chilli chicken and veg manchuria in the other. You also choose a rice or noodle along with a drink. All this for 2.9. Very reasonable and was sufficient for 4 of us. Chilli chicken and Manchurian were really nice and so was the wonton. All in all a good addition to the food scene in Muscat and I hope they open more outlets closer in the city.
