In addition to being close to our hotel, at sunset its terrace is enlivened with enough customers looking for a beer that we were when we had already darkened, and we could sit on one of the tables on the terrace. The interiors have no views so that we can enjoy our Bulgarian beer and a good Italian taste dinner, as the menu of this restaurant makes clear that Italian food is its specialty in terms of price, even being cheap to the economy of the Western europa, is something more expensive than other locals of the city. But of course, dinner is paid with those views.
This restaurant located next to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is very good. The atmosphere is excellent and both the food and service are of high quality. I recommend sitting in the smoking area as it has a better ambiance and decorations. While prices are slightly higher than at typical Bulgarian restaurants, it is justified by its prime location.
The restaurant is lovely and welcoming, with a convenient location and tasty drinks. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy during the summer months.
The whole experience was excellent eating was delicious and radoslav incredibly polite.
Located in perhaps the most prime spot, overlooking the cathedral and surrounded by pleasant trees and lawn, I expected this small restaurant to be a typical tourist trap and somewhere offering poor value for money; but how wrong that impression was! It’s a fabulous place which, even if you don’t manage to get a table outdoors, is a relaxing place for drinks and a meal. There’s a decent amount of outdoor seating and tables, all of which were clean and of a good size. It didn’t take long for the waiting staff to spot us and menus were instantly brought with drinks order taken. Coke was served in glass bottles with a glass but there was no ice offered. There’s pretty much every drink listed that you can imagine though plus a lot of beer options. The food menu is equally as extensive and I was surprised with the offering given the size of the place. Full pasta and meat options, as well as lots of pizza choices mean there should be something for every taste! Given it was lunch time we opted for something smaller and lighter with the croque monsieur. This was served in good time and really tasty, as well as being well presented. The menu stated that it came with fries, which actually ended up being more like fried potato slices than French fries as expected. However they were really delicious even though pretty salty. I had no complaints about the waiting staff. They weren’t the most chatty or overly friendly but they were efficient and easy to catch the attention of when needed, without being over bearing throughout our stay. Best of all were the prices though for such a prime location and for the quality and amount of food served it was a bargain. I’d certainly return here and thoroughly recommend!
