Steve's Landing - Soddy Daisy

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting with a great view of the Soddy Lake! We had the Seafood Dinner and Catfish Dinner and it was perfect!

We are new to the Hixson area and my brother 's Uber driver recommended Steve 's for catfish and ribs. Cute and casual restaurant. Our server was amazing she handled the 7 of us expertly, however the man at the front counter was pretty rude. He told my older mother that we had to wait outside and my mom asked if he meant the outside of the restaurant to which he replied, is there any other outside? I have no idea who he is, but he walked around the restaurant with a grumpy look on his face the whole time we were there. All other staff were very friendly though. I wish I remembered our server 's name she was young with blond hair. My brother said the catfish was delicious and my husband said the ribs were really good. My mom got mahi mahi and she said it, too, was delicious. The chicken tenders were your basic frozen kind you 'd find at a McDonalds and the corn fritters were also frozen. The location is great on a marina so we 'll probably go back during the summer, but I don 't think it will be in our restaurant rotation.

This is a gem in Soddy Daisy! I have now been here twice as a post hike lunch/dinner. I love that it has a patio by the water, and the interior is actually really cute too diner vibes in a laid back atmosphere. Service has been slow to welcome us both times and the servers are a bit blunt, but we've had good food here, so can't complain too much! I've tried their salad, their fried chicken sandwich, and their Catfish sandwich I wouldn't get a salad here again, but I definitely recommend either of those sandwiches. Good stuff!

Great all around. Food is awesome. The atmosphere is beautiful. It's very relaxing and so close to home.

If you like good food, do not come here. If you like high quality food, do not come here. I had been told that Steve's Landing has the best Ribs in Chattanooga. I found them to be rubbery. My husband makes better ribs at home. I ordered a burger. The burger was dry and the bun was stale. It probably wouldn't grow mold if left out for a month. I am scratching my head as to why people like this place. It's a hard pass for me.
