Do not spend your hard earned money here! We ordered a pizza at 6:30. No call that it was late. We called at 8:15, they said they would comp us for the pizza and it would be here in 45 minutes. It is now 9:30. I called and asked for the manager. I spoke with somebody named Sid who could care less about anything much less her job. I have kids who have to go to school tomorrow and now have no dinner.. A word to the wise, do not order anything from this place!
A friendly young waitress approached us to take our beer order and provided us with menus. We began to look over the options and decide what to order. Shortly after, two couples arrived, and Nick seated them at the bar behind us. When he passed by, I politely asked him when he had a moment if we could place our order. He replied, “Okay, give me a minute.” However, instead of taking our order, he proceeded to fulfill the drink orders for the new table, prepared their drinks, and took their food order. When he finally returned to the bar, I asked him why he prioritized their order over ours. That’s when he completely lost it. He grabbed the remaining beer from our table and told us to leave the restaurant. Not only was he yelling, but he also snatched my cell phone from in front of me. Seriously, what was that about? We were perfectly willing to leave, but I have no idea why he took my phone. Thankfully, he had placed his iPad on the bar, which I quickly grabbed to ensure I could get my phone back. Dan, I have been a loyal customer at Maltby Pizza for 20 years, but I won’t be returning as long as hotheaded Nick is on the staff.
