Bidra med feedbackI think the prices at this restaurant are quite high. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with my order; I asked for brisket and pork but instead received brisket and chicken. The brisket was excellent, but the chicken was disappointing. The Latin roast potatoes lacked flavor and were overpriced at $2 for a small portion. The tacos were a decent size and surprisingly good; the tortilla was perfect, and the meat tasted nice, though I wish there had been more of it.
The tacos were soft flour tortillas filled with ground beef, and they tasted really good. However, they were so overstuffed that it was a bit messy to eat, but at least the price reflects the generous portion. I chose the Mexican-style rice and Latin potatoes as my sides. The rice was a yellow hue and looked like a lower-quality variety than what you'd typically find in a restaurant—but it tasted fine. It wasn't bad, just not up to restaurant standards. The potatoes were seasoned well, making them tasty, but they were akin to what you might fry at home with just salt and pepper. Although the quality was decent, I did question their price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, and I suspect part of the pricing reflects that. They also serve alcohol. Overall, I would return, but I wasn't completely blown away. Unfortunately, there aren't many better casual dining options in the area. It sits somewhere between fast food chains like Taco Bell and Del Taco and sit-down restaurants like Frontera or Poblanos. Edit: I've decided that it deserves 4 stars after all. The shredded beef was amazing and packed with excellent flavor!
