Doon Masala Fine Indian Cuisine

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant on a quiet winter evening during the middle of the week (early August). The food had great flavor and the service was good. We are big fans of Indian cuisine and this meal was just as good, if not better, than any we have had in New Zealand. In terms of value, it is probably the best we have experienced. Interestingly, the owner was not present, but the experience was still top-notch. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next night and met the owner, and the result was the same - perfect. We can't wait to visit Snells Beach again and dine at this restaurant.

This Indian restaurant is a dependable and cozy spot. The food is tasty, although not extraordinary, just consistently good Indian cuisine served with friendly service. The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely revisit!

Delicious food! Ordered the prawn maluburi and chicken korma with peshwari and butter naan super tasty! Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Food was very good, but service was slow, and when ordering drinks, they had run out of quite a few drinks. Staff were friendly and we will be going bk.

Ordered take aways on our way to Mahurangi East, not much choice in Snells Beach, so no expectations... But what a positive surprise! The quality of the food was amazing, the service was super friendly, very enjoyable dinner thank you.
