Davis Seafood Inc - Sneads Ferry

We were introduced to Davis Seafood from my now deceased in laws who lived in Hampstead. As we visit Topsail our number one place to purchase Seafood..this past week was no exception. The Davis family could not be more friendly; Vicki as helpful and informative and Jodie taught us how to fillet Sea Bass. And while we know the Davis family did not create the fish, all we purchased; Sea Bass, shrimp, and scallops were top notch! I also appreciate the cleanliness of the dock and the in and out experiences. If you are in the area and you didn't stop....Your Loss!

I purchased 10 lbs of head on shrimp and 10 lbs of snow crab clusters for a family party. I requested the shrimp to be large rather than small. When I picked them up I was amazed to see how nice they all were. All but 1 single shrimp were jumbo sized. They cooked up sweet and and flavorful and the heads made an amazing broth that I used for cooking every thing. The crab was also large and nice quality. A bit oversalted for my taste, but my family was swooning over them.Customer service was outstanding. I placed my order a few days before picking them up. I asked many questions of the person on the phone regarding how to keep everything fresh since I had to pick it up 2 days prior to the event and tips for layering the boil pot. When I hung up the phone I knew I could be confident that I would have a great quality end result.

Wonderful Family owned business, we purchased fresh caught grouper and local sourced lump crab meat. One of Owners and daughter assisted us and were really friendly and helpful.
