Son Rise Diner - Smithville

We had lots of questions about the area and the waitress took her time to tell us all about the area. The food was fantastic and made to order as well. I'll be in a food coma for a while. Kid-friendliness: My kids really loved our waitress and she was very good at interacting with them. They felt comfortable enough to order their own food like big kids.

Service is terrible been in there a couple of times and it is always the same food is good if you can get it.

Food is ok, they are hit and miss with their hours. They close at 2pm. So really all they serve is breakfast and somewhat of a lunch.

Got breakfast and it was less then good. Bacon was burnt along with biscuits so bad I had yo throw one away. My Omelette was okay but I have had better.. Hoping the cook was just having a bad day. Maybe their dinners are better. But definitely won't get breakfast from there again

Have visited before and they would do half orders on breakfasts. I asked the tall blondish waitress if that was still the same and she asked what plate. I told her bacon and eggs and she said yes we do. I ate my half order and received my bill for the full price. I actually asked her and she NOW said all prices are the same and we don't do that anymore. I stuck my $5 tip back in my pocket and realized I'll have to find somewhere with honest employees to take my son for Breakfast...
