Rosses Point Beach - Sligeach

Tide was out, sand was warm, ocean was a pleasure. Great beach for children who explore the rock pools and decent swimming without having to go too far. Sand until the eye can see. Parking can be a challenge and some drivers inventively leave their cars. Many dishes with the ice cream coffee car parked on site. The campsite was used by friends who said it was excellent.

Beautiful beach with rocky areas. There was even a purpose built crutch holders for me in one of the rocks. Keep an eye on the tides, or you could be cut off.

Rosses point beach is beautiful, with views of Benbulben and Knocknarea mountains. It is a safe beach for swimming and has rock pools that are fun to look around with the children. There is a campsite, a yacht club, golf club, hotel, bars and restaurants and a small local shop. On sunny days you can find an ice cream trolley and a coffee car in the parking lot of the beach. There is a lack of being so ready to take any garbage home.

So a beautiful beach to go, not crowded many seats sit and relax and beautiful area for food too.
