Fondues were great, as always, and our server Amanda was particularly excellent on a night when she seemed to have a lot of other responsibilities. Thanks!

Great meal. Our server (I think her name was Fab) was such pleasure. Her upbeat humorous attitude and attentive server made the evening perfect.

I have been here multiple times but it was years ago!! Place was just as nice as it used to be but the bathroom floor was SOO sticky it was a huge turn off primarily why I knocked a star off).Food was good, nothing to write home about, but yummy for fondue. No other places that offer it, so nothing that can really top it.Prices are pricy. We got cheese fondue $13/pp), salads $8/pp), and then chocolate fondue $13/pp). My advice would be to not get the main course, you'll be full from the other three and the main course is roughly $40/pp!!Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to get downstairs as the restaurant is in the basement.

The positives the original alpine cheese fondue to start was delicious, the dark chocolate fondue for dessert was fabulous, with a great selection of dipping items, and our server was very nice. The negatives the restaurant is below street level, and an odor of stale cooking oil greets you on stepping out of the elevator. We were seated in the last of 3 tables in a very dark hallway. It felt like a dungeon. The main course left a lot to be desired. We built our own fondues by selecting 3 meats and a red wine cooking broth. The meats were good, but the portions were small 3 little pieces of each. Timing the cooking was also tricky, with everyone trying to use their phones, not to mention that the side dishes (broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms) also had to be cooked, and again there were just a few pieces of each. Overall, it was an expensive meal and not worth it for what we got. We will definitely not go back!

This post is a little late but I have to give props to our waiter, Arthur. He took excellent care of me and my family on mother's day. He's a great asset to the Melting Pot!
