The Co-op Natural Foods - Sioux Falls

The coop is the go-to in the city when they are looking for vegan food. also has some prefabricated deli options for vegan and a hot lunch bar with vegan options.

Besides being vegan, we are very special about certain ingredients (gluten, soy, canola, msg, citric acid, vinegar etc.) we stopped while we were on a country trip in a rv. we were thrilled to find many of the brands we buy at home. they also had a reverse osmosis water system and we store with 10 gallons water. our only criticism was that everything was a little more expensive than it would be at home with us, and they had not taken much to themselves and went to eat what would have been nice for our trip. we were there on a Saturday, and their deli was closed that went open, perhaps had more options. Oh, and they don't sell any ice we needed for a cooler.

On a road trip they stayed at dinner. not many vegan options, but it is enough in consideration of the situation. a handful of prepared vegan products and they can be happy with a hot bar item if it is the right day of the week. Otherwise, eating place to stop water, bath break and increase to some snacks!

It is a small co-op with all the things they come to love and expect, plus a deli with hot food to order labeled vegan. they had also labeled vegan options in bakery case. I have the sweet potato bowl and it was delicious. a perfect road stop.

I can see this space being great for Sioux Falls, unfortunately when I was there most of the store was under construction. I asked about it, and their previous space had burned out in a fire and they are only know building out because they weren't sure they were going to stay in this location. They have some vegan food around the store and a decent but small produce section. I would look forward to their kitchen and grab and go being finished though.
