Sunkist Donuts - Sioux City

Very friendly staff. Very clean store. Only bakery I know that has a drive-through.

My father was in the hospital then a physical rehab facility last month. I wanted to get the staff a token of our appreciation and purchased lip balms, hand lotions, plus baked goods from Sunkist Bakery on Hamilton. The young man (that helped me on both occasions) was very helpful and created a great boxed assortment and even thought to avoid nuts for possible allergic reactions- all for an incredibly reasonable price! I hope they get a way to tip using cards, like at restaurants, as people are carrying physical money less and less. I sure remembered to bring cash the second time! The nurses and staff really appreciated it. One mentioned that patient families and/or employers had stopped showing their appreciation like at the beginning of the pandemic. We can't slack on helping support our essential workers and letting them know they are seen and appreciated. And that is where my only gripe arises. The staff at Sunkist Bakery was without a mask both times. I'm pretty sure he really only has drive thru customers these days, so I understand the tendency to go without. It certainly doesn't negate the wonderful service and food he supplied. I hadn't used this bakery before, but will certainly use them again.

The best donuts around! We get the pizza dough also to make homemade pizzas, so good!

Delicious donuts, but we went later in the morning so selection was smaller. Go early!
