Forno Beirao - Sintra

We visited this cafe for late breakfast on a couple of occasions during our stay in Portugal. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming and the cakes are delicious! we always had at least one cake and a mista with a couple of coffee's and...the pao con chorizo is the best I've had. Despite my lack of ability to speak portuguese they always managed to understand what I wanted and the prices are very reasonable at only around 3.50EUR for a couple of coffees, cake and mista. Definitely worth a visit but dont tell everyone, as its a lovely quiet little find!

Have been here a lot of the years but never completed a review so it was about time that I did this. This is our favourite cafe in Rio de Mouro and it also has a restaurant on the 1st floor. Large enough to have...toilets in the basement. However I did not know that they had a happy hour at 6pm when they sold cakes for Euro 0.50 and pasties etc for Euro 0.75. We bought two coffees and two Pastel De Natas and you are given a number so that when you finish you can pay for what you have consumed. Well we also bought 6 more Pastel de Nata's and two cheese ham pastries to take back to Rio de Jupiter which is just around the corner, the total cost was Euro 12.00. The only issue is that if you are not staying local then you will have to hire a car but if you are going towards Sintra Palace of Forum Sintra it is well worth visiting. Opening times are 0630 to 2000 hours daily

Local agradável com pessoal atencioso e prestável comida muito boa e bem temperada visitem pois vão gostar.

Recomendo bacalhau com batata a murro. Serviço simpático. Estabelecimento vocacionado para refeições rápidas e pastelaria. Muitas opções de doces. Bom pão.

Boa pastelaria, mas o pão tradicional é o melhor da zona! Adoro! Faz lembrar o pão típico do norte do país. Funcionários muito simpáticos.
