Porta Porta Italian - Singapore

A very cozy Italian restaurant with pleasant decor and ambience. Lunch tasted really good and very value for money. Service personnel were also fantastic, polite, polite, patient. Top Notch. Absolutely loved my experience here. Will definitely come back! Kudos!

Quiet Italian restaurant in the east side of Singapore that serves very good Italian food! We ordered the set for 1, plus eggplant parmigiana. The set comes with this bread set with freshly baked warm focaccia bread and 4 little appetizers that goes along with the bread. Eggplant, cucumber, mushroom, and bell peppers. All are sooooo good. My fav is eggplant. There’s enough sauce to soak up, and they offered us a second bread basket. So nice of them. Minestrone soup is filled with ingredients and so flavorful. As for pasta, they totally nailed it. The pesto cheese ravioli is da bomb. Please save some bread to dip into this pesto sauce. Vongole is the star dish! Balanced between olive oil, garlic, and clams. Calamari is fried in light batter. Piping hot when it arrived on our table. The only average ones are the lamb and the desserts (tiramisu and apple pie/crumble). The rest are MUST tries.

First time trying out Porta-Porta with my friend. We had the Seafood set and were very satisfied with the food. The Spaghetti Vongole was great and full of garlic flavour. My favourite would be the fried calamari. We end the meal with Tiramisu and coffee. Overall the experience was great and i can’t wait to try the dinner menu next time.

Date of visit : Friday, 3rd April, 2020 We had dinner on a Friday night the setting was nice. Nice table and homey decor. Clean toilet. Good service. Lady in charge friendly helpful with our orders. As usual the squid ink pasta was the highlight our party of 5, we had 2 orders The anti-pasta was very good . Especially the egg plant that tastes so nice with the toasted bread We also shared the Gnocchi pasta which was not too bad. Extremely temperature hot when served so gotta be careful. Overall it was good food nice ambience. Price value : good

Catch up with friends in Saturday evening. The staffs are friendly though we just walk in without reservation but they accommodate us in just fine while other customer hasn't arrived, that's the spirit. We were served immediately by the waiters walking us through menu and recommendation, that is really warmth service. We had the house courses and herbs chicken along with juices and of course, a latte for myself. Had a great time spending there chit chat with friends and we can see the restaurant is actually full house. The waiters keep doing rounds to serve us water to keep us comfort, kudos to that! Keep up the great work and the services!
