Bidra med feedbackGreat modern French cuisine with a Japanese twist. I decidedly felt a bit Spanish as well ; . Super friendly and welcoming staff. Hamachi tartar was excellent, so was the kingfish and the lobster risotto. Very affordable but good wine selection. Atmo is like sitting in the kitchen with all the buzzing and noises. Certainly coming back
Mags Wine Kitchen Wine leaning dining option in the Keong Siak area focusing on French European fare. Service is professional. We recommend the Pork The Damage (no drinks): S$140-180 for two TRY: Foie Gras Pork Tartare Follow us at IG: eatsmorefun
We had a great omakase set dinner at Mag's. Most of the courses were well executed and left an impression. Service was attentive and prompt as well. It was our first visit and definitely not the last.
Mag’s is a great place for great food without the intensity of a fine dining restaurant. I quote the waiter, “Atas, but chin chye a bit.” Service was excellent thorough the night and I enjoyed a back and forth conversation on the wine selection with the waiter. Although food was great in quality overall. A lot of focus was placed on plating a great sauce, which interestingly, overpowered the natural food elements on the plate (i.e. the wagyu entrecôte was complete shadowed by the rich sauce accompanying it) For the dinner my wife and I had their tasting menu I highly recommend the barramundi, excellent control and skill to get a great crispy skin without over cooking the meat. Most definitely the best dish of the night. I completely enjoyed their selection of unique house pour wines. Not defining into standard flavors but having some very unique pins on their list (e.g single varietal viognier and a very green and interesting Sem/SB) I must say I enjoyed my birthday dinner but I am looking forward to my next visit with hopefully a change in the menu.
Great food and cosy atmosphere. Perfect for friends and family gathering.
