Bidra med feedbackWhat a fun night in Clarke Quay! Located on this long strip of bars/clubs, my friend and I decided to make this our first stop on our night out. It was so much fun that we ended up staying the entire night! I originally walked in because I thought they'd play viet music hence their name), but was wildly wrong. I'm a sucker for live music and this was my jam the entire night. They entertained all of my wild) song requests and I was stokeddddd. My best friend and I made new friends with some regulars. They definitely made our experience infinitely better. I didn't try the food we heard it's not great), and drinks were overpriced AND watered down imo....but fun was had. I'd totally recommend making this one of your stops :
So for disclaimer I never ordered the main food but I just ate the creme brûlée and it probably messed up my night. The texture was like baby throw up and puss and the taste was just coffee. They should re name this and call it not on the menu anymore
After eating here, I concluded that Little Saigon is all about the ambiance, music and location. The food was just okay. I had the beef and pork pho which was pricier than a less touristy venue while being less tasty. It is still a good time and a good way to end up a night out
Late nights and you're hungry? Sure. Tip: do not get the curry fries (no hint of curry) They do not serve water. They sell Evian bottled water for $8 SGD. We got the platter filled w/ fried delicacy that were mediocre at best however, the fried chicken wings and egg rolls were good. chicken wings had a crispy exterior and juicy insides egg rolls were fried perfectly A rather extensive menu and prices weren't too bad considering this is a major tourist area. Service was great, the food came out pretty fast, and I sincerely wish they reconsider the water offerings. They looked at me weird for wanting iced water.
Stick around for a beer or two and grab a seat overlooking the river. It's right next to the river boat tours so you can watch people, and watch boats coming in and out. I did stick around a bit longer and went for their big sampler and fried rice. It's basically everything on their menu all on one plate. All good stuff and they give a lot of food. It's still hot even under their covered outdoor seating, but at least some of their fans still work.
