Millwright's - SIMSBURY

Had a very nice dinner at Millwrights. Booked the enclosed bridge and was seated right in the middle staring at the waterfall wonderful. My wife had the kale Caesar and scallops she's not a big eater but completely finished both with little sharing. I had the Tuna Tartare and the Duck BLT both were unique and delicious. Waitress and servers were great available when needed but not hovering over you. Overall a very good experience.

Our dinner was late due to the chef overcooking one of our dishes . Once it arrived I the meat was cooked properly but sat on a big plate of baked beans which were just ok. They brought a snack for us to eat while we waited. This is the first time we didn't walk away raving about this restaurant. We will chalk it up to a busy night for them as they had event going on in the upstairs room. We will give it a mulligan as this was a rare experience for such a good restaurant

We had a very good meal, I am just disappointed because we went in to have the 5 course meal and they no longer accommodate soy allergy, so I was not able to participate along with the other 3 guests, needless to say I mainly watch them eat after I ate my burger. ? I also wish they would do the 5 course meals outside because the noise inside was a bit too much. Everything else was great. Would recommend but not sure we would return for the multi course since I cannot have it, total bummer.

This is an outstanding restaurant. I took my mother out for a better late than never Mother's Day dinner and our waiter, Ron, was immaculate. A member in our party had a food allergy and while able to enjoy the tour of the cuisine they offered, Ron made sure to make them feel included as well recommending certain dishes and being sure that while the others ate their dishes, they were able to eat at the same time. The staff is very friendly and they all work as a team helping to give everyone a pleasurable dining experience there. I hope to be back again, it is all well worth it.

The recent renovations make the bridge a great place to have dinner in a casual but upscale setting. The team at Millright's always does a great job serving you and the food is always top notch and consistent. The highlight of this trip was the grilled octopus...everything else was also awesome.
