Palapa Mexican Food - Simi Valley

They stopped there as they charge $1.25 to use a credit card. That's too much for me. I use my card for points / cash and pay balance every month. I'll go there twice a month. I'll never eat there again.

One of my favorite places to get Mexican food in Simi Valley. Your Aroz con pollo is fantastic.

We have been coming to Palapa for the last few years and normally the food is quite good, but lately it has been hit and miss tonight I ordered a chimichanga and my husband brought it right out of the restaurant home and it was pure **** not a nice crispy chimichanga as it should be! I was very disappointed and not happy with my meal!

I had the shredded beef taco and tamale combination. It was decent but I've had better. I was there during happy hour and the bar was busy. Pretty bar maids to sit and have a chat with while having a cocktail or two.

During lunch on a Friday, the food was good. They have lunch specials that includes a soft drink and either a burrito or a choice of 2: enchiladas, tacos, or chile rellinos. I ordered cheese enchiladas which seemed very basic in terms of flavor the sauce was very bland. The beans were good quality and rice was good but a little over cooked. I would try this place again during dinner if I was in the area again but would not drive specifically to come here.
