Millie's Bakery - Simi Valley

Changed my rating after the remodeling. Well I'm trying it out again. The remodeling isn't completely done yet but it seems to be growing on me. The food and service has always been good here. Back several times now after remodeling. Still pretty good old fashioned diner. Wish they would wipe down the tables better. 7-24-24, I hate doing this but here goes. I've been back several times lately, while the food is generally still good and the prices are good, I'm removing one star. It's just that I've had a couple poor experiences and one kind of bad experience. They were busy and that probably contributed to my bad experience. I'll be back to see if I can at least get it back to four stars. Service, adherence to menus as well as the check-out process needs improvement.

Very generous portions. Reasonable prices. Delicious diner fare. They also have additional spins on classics that make old favorites even better. Example you can get avocado toast or caprese avocado toast. You can have a waffle or a peanut butter waffle called the Elvis. 7/14/24 update. Food still good and prices not inflated. Still consistent. Great service.

BEEPS is an old-fashioned dinor,with a 50's and 60's Hollywood Americana nostalgic theme. Great varied menu for everyone, with a nice kids menu too. Milkshakes, to chicken pot pie, great portions, and reasonably priced; all served by genuinely nice wait staff, It's a gem!

Burgers are dry. Mac and cheese tastes like sawdust. We had to ask for refills on drinks. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy. The food overall was not worth the money.

I really enjoy this place, awesome ol school feeling, with old school type food . Shakes are bomb!
