Old Fashion Favourites - Silverton

During our recent visit to Broken Hill, we took a drive out to Silverton and stumbled upon Old Fashion Favourites. This charming spot caught our eye with its inviting display created by local artist Howard Steer. Inside, we found not only a cozy coffee shop but also an art gallery, gift shop, and exhibit on Australian history. Margaret, the friendly owner, warmly welcomed us and shared her exciting plans for the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning for another visit.

The food at this restaurant is amazing. A full meal of Butter Chicken with rice or 2 pieces of naan bread is only $8.95. You can also get an extra piece of naan for $2. The food tastes fantastic and there is a laid-back atmosphere with no pretentiousness.

Great value for money! For just $6, you can enjoy any vegetarian curry with rice or freshly cooked naan. The portion size is generous and will leave you feeling satisfied.
