Bidra med feedbackAuthentic and atmospheric japanese food. The staff can be heard speaking in japanese, which makes you feel like you've been transported to Japan to eat sushi.
Great ambiance friendly and mellow. Seared tuna was the bomb. Seaweed salad tasty, but could use sesame oil.
Food is generally good. A bit slow during peak hours. Good selection of menu items.
It feels like a Japanese restaurant in America. I didn't order sashimi, but the person I went with had a bento box. I ordered something like this and it included sashimi. I was asked to try some tuna and was given it, but I was surprised at how fishy and bland the tuna was. The other sashimi didn't have that kind of thing, so only the tuna had a really strange taste. What I ordered was very flavorful and salty. The server, a woman with glasses, silently threw it down, but everyone else was polite. As a Japanese person, I found it a little strange, but it was well received by Americans, so I gave it this rating.
Been coming here for years and was there for the owner change. Today on June 18th I ordered an Eel-electric roll and an entree Tonkatsu, i always get that. The lady that took the order was someone I didn’t recognize and assumed she was new. I place the order and wait patiently until the server came up to me saying they won’t serve my tonkatsu as an entree but instead as an appetizer. This confused me at first and she tried to give me a menu but I didn’t want the menu and told her just get me another eel-electric roll please. Couple long minutes go by and the food finally comes except, only one roll of mine is on the plate, where’s the other? I didn’t bother and ate my roll but noticed everything in the sushi was burnt. As i finished my roll, i see the other table to my right get tonkatsu with the rice and everything. So now i’m confused why the table got tonkatsu but I didn’t? Overall a weird experience and won’t be coming back for awhile until they figure out the waiter situation as clearly they don’t know what’s in stock and what’s not. Wish I could get a refund but it’s too late now.
