Bidra med feedbackThis bbq place is located near chipotle, jewel of India and Starbucks. I came here a quick lunch and ordered the pulled pork and a salad. My order came with warm cornbread. I liked the corn bread, but that was the existent of what I really enjoyed. The salad dressing was something similar to hidden valley and not good at all. All and all this is not somewhere I would visit again.
Ordered the Urban Legend with cornbread for myself while my son got the American Burger and fries. The bun was pretty hard but the burg was moist. He thought the fries were pretty good though. The Legend was a small portion for the $12 cost. Had to add the Atomic Punk hot sauce to give it a little kick. All in all Famous Dave's is probably a better value.
This may be one of the worst bbq experiences I have ever had. How did it average a 3 star?! Had a brisket sandwich and wings. The buns were at least a day or two old, brisket was inconsistently tough and tender. Wings were bad, tasted old while they drowned in the bbq sauce. I literally threw most of the order out. What a waste. I visited this chain at another location in the area over 3 yrs ago. Note to self stay away from this chain, it won't get any better.
I really liked the wings here. The offers are great when you get delicious wings for half their usual price. The wait time was too much just that there was only one person in the kitchen. You can try out other places of this franchise and I am sure you will like the quality of food served.
The food is average, especially compared to cheaper and better food from Mission BBQ. What really drags them down is the aggressive homeless people that have setup camp next to their entrance around noon. Some of them get very threatening when you do not give them any money. It is not worth the aggravation to go there for lunch anymore.
