Einstein Bros. Bagels - Silver Spring

We get Einstein Bros a lot at my office, and it satisfies, but it has some flaws. On the good side, the Iced Caramel Macchiato is sooooooo good (but sorta expensive! . I also really like the cinnamon sugar Single Bagel with Shmear. But... If youre gonna charge 2 extra dollars for cream cheese, the bagel should be COVERED in cream cheese. Theyre pretty skimpy with it most of the time... Usually the bagel isnt even covered all the way. In our case itll be more cost effective to just buy a tub of cream cheese. I like the Twice-Baked Hashbrown, but it definitely isnt crispy, which was a bit of a letdown the first time I had it. It still tastes good and Ill usually get one anyways

Texas Brisket Sandwich was so greasy and the jalapeño bagel was more like a sad piece of foccacia. Almost 6$ for a single bagel with the lightest amount of schmear is criminal. There are def better bagel places around the area so dont waste money here

This place just gets better and better. They didnt have the dessert item I ordered (sold out! so they substituted a huge, delicious chocolate chip cookie. And threw in a blueberry muffin (also delicious to boot. Outstanding.

Asiago Bagel was old, cream cheese carel ped dumpe onto bread, tomatoes where old, carpers old, at least salmon was fresh.

Low rating is because the coffee was old and stale and tasted horrible. Definitely NOT "fresh brewed" as advertised. I had to pitch it.
