Bayleaf - Siliguri

It serves spicy foods for food lovers. I would get the quality of eating a bit above average as the ones they get in the general restaurants. the atmosphere of this place has a light similarity to barbeque nation of calcutta. the pricing is slightly higher. they serve continental feed and beer alcohol. they also have a screen for football/cricket games

The ambience is good, foods are also good. Worth for money.

Honestly, I had high regards for this restaurant but that was two years ago. The menu has changed to very basic Chinese, Indian items and two pasta items. I recently attended a bday party, the food was like any other ordinary restaurant, there wasn 't any 'bayleaf ' touch to it. The buffet food was just lukewarm and not piping hot. Also the quantity of the food I felt was very less esp the non veg items. Even the snacks were made in the same style, I couldn 't differentiate which was paneer and which was chicken. The ambience was no doubt the same and the toilets were clean but the restaurant which was known for its food, isn 't the same anymore.

Worst experience we have in recent time in Siliguri. Waiting time 2 hr. And most importantly head chef was not there. They made the food without him and the food was half cooked !!! We ordered chicken biriyani and chiken tikka but they served boiled rice with half boiled chicken and chiken butter masala!! They didn't even have proper bill. Overall management is very poor .This is my last time in Bayleaf !! So dissapointed with this famous restaurent !!

I loved eating the personal the ambiente, in sevoke street siliguri near kosmos mall, one of the best places to have continental food in the city. I tried Japanese and Chinese cuisine here. they were a tasty bite.
