Bidra med feedbackThe high prices and quality were not as high as I paid for it. It doesn't matter to pay more if it's gonna be amazing. But that was average. That was my second time here. For the first time, they never came to get our orders, so we went. I hate to leave bad reviews. That's why I hope managers take this as a nudge to improve their game. There are so few options on signal that you cannot afford to lose what little business there is. Good luck.
The food here is always great. It is a very home feel Mexican restaurant and I come as often as I can. I usually get the Burrito Americano and the chicken is always great as well as the vegetables, queso, etc. Prices are also reasonable and I am overall very happy my experience here.
Recently eaten here. The food was terrible. It tasted sour/spoiled and from the date. The young girl who came after our arrival was helpful and friendly, but the older gentleman who originally took our order was rude. I'm shocked that this restaurant has good reviews.
Ayala is still the authentic Mexican Tex Mexican restaurant on Walden's Ridge. The patio and veranda overlooking the green nature is a perfect place to eat and win. All it takes to El Metate is a fleet license.
I am currently sitting in this restaurant waiting patiently for a manager to speak with me about my order. I paid for an order of chimichangas, a taco with beans and rice. After arriving and asking the long lady at the counter about my To go order, she said another person was doing to go orders so I would have to wait for her. She came out after 5 mins and immediately took care of the person after me. I waited for her to help me after the other costumer was assisted, but she immediately walked to the back. Im super frustrated because I can audibly hear the staff ask someone to speak with me. (management) They have literally refused to even speak with me, Said they were ?Too busy cooking.? Ive waited for a manager for about 15 mins. I ordered through post mates and it was a very simple and easy process. I received a text saying my order was ready and arrived at the restaurant 10 mins later. I waited 45 mins for this order. No one checked on me, and the only person that apologized to me was the girl who delivered my food. I had to ask 3 times for someone to check on the STATUS of my order. They informed me that it was not even made, after waiting with no service for 20 mins. I understand it is Cinco de Mayo, I am a former waitress from Texas, so I get that this holiday is big day for orders. However! The girls in the front neglected to keep up with the line, which is why I was skipped twice. No one, including the manager checked on me, nor asked if I had been helped. I am walking to my car now without even checking my food after finally receiving it because I could tell they just wanted to be rid of me at this point. The chimichanga is ok, not crispy as I am used to so I assume they rushed it and didn?t let it fry for long. Queso sauce is sub par. I have not tried the taco yet. As a Texan I am usually happy with most Mexican food, so maybe this experience has tainted my tastebuds. This was the worst service I?ve had in a very long time. My husband and daughter waited in the car with our groceries that included ice cream, which is most certainly melted at this point. The servers were young, so I don?t attribute this entire situation to them. They have a very poor example of management. During the rush, I saw a cute baby in the kitchen on the floor, and a older woman with an apron eating chips. 3 server?s sitting talking while there was a ?rush?, in plain sight of a manager that was too? busy? to even speak to a customer. Restaurant was clean, not many people seated, also no one working had on a mask. I have never written a review this fast! In the parking lot! Save your tastebuds and your feelings the trip. Management only cares about business, definitely not customer service.
