Started off so well... But food and service simply ordinary. Had to ask for the bill 3 times and wait staff just rude. Wanted to send clients here but will now look elsewhere.

It’s a lovely spot with a nice view of the castle and river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the portions are big. I recommend you to make a reservation as it can get pretty busy at least for lunch time. Although it was busy the service was fast and because the rooms are spacious you don’t feel crowded. Highly recommend!

The Karl hotel should have its own restaurant really, this is ok but not good enough.

Careful operation, delicious food and music at the open Air was great that I traveled from Aachen because of Daniel Shoemacher and is very happy again today. When he goes back with you, I'll be back.

We were here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and we were served immediately. The food was great, the ambience great and the view of the Danube beautiful. We look forward to seeing the boathouse again.
