Bidra med feedback5 stars with a star. That was the best meal we had in Siena. A chick cake with cod, tomatoes and homemade mayonnaise — fantastic. A cacio e pepe pasta — really good. A cod main course — a bit salty, but delicious. The Parfait Dessert finished the meal perfectly like a white wine from San Gimignano, which we enjoyed with our meal. So why the star? We chose Guido because of a pasta with shrimp shell that we saw on their online menu. Not there IRL. The waiter explained that they dropped the court 3 days earlier, but the menu had not updated online. The Cacio e Pepe was the result of a negotiations to get a meat-free pasta dish that was not on the menu. A bit of a mica that blew the food until the food arrived. So an appeal to da Guido and any other restaurant – post your menu online and keep it up to date. Not with courts you can only lead to disappointment and negative reviews.
Amazing food and wine. The environment is very nice and the staff is very friendly!
This was one of the best places we have been digging in Italy! Amazing food!
One of the oldest restaurants in Siena in the old town. Great food, excellent customer service and a spectacular environment full of photos of celebrities I really liked.
What a fantastic restaurant! The food was well prepared and everything we had ordered was delicious. Wild boar parpadelle was exquisite! An incredibly extensive wine list for all price points including a well selection of wines by the glass. One word of advice, do not skip dessert! Chocolate mousse with orange was unforgettable. Service was prompt, friendly and accommodating. Servers are pleasant and charming. Located down a narrow side street with tables inside and out. Despite a huge celebration inside we were never forgotten. Plan on returning again to this gem during our time in Siena!
