Victory Italian — River North - side

We have frequented Victory River North since 2019 and have had nothing but great experiences. I was originally hooked by the bread, brick chicken, and a very friendly server named Patrick. The whole menu is terrific and we love that our dog can join us on the patio during the summer. We enjoy it so much we convinced my sister and brother-in-law to host their wedding rehearsal dinner here. Jason and Nicole helped put on a great event. Also try a pizza for carry out.

Be sure to triple check your bill!! During a recent visit to the establishment, a girlfriend and I should have been more diligent in asking for an itemized check (we did not get one) and looking it over. Unfortunately, we weren't paying close enough attention and accidentally paid for another patrons more expensive meal. Restaurant just overrated. Nice atmosphere but just drink wine! That's all! Food was classic American Italian! NOT ITALIAN! Plus insane price. Same chicken parmegan in Quartitno 16$ way more better. They charged 33$! That's ridiculous!

Victory Italian River North is absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant! I am from Michigan and from Italian descent. My Nonna was from San Marino. Nonno from Rimini. I was in the restaurant business for 22-years; half were in Italian fine dining and banquet service. Victory Italian is authenticity Italian. Pasta is a light and buttery texture. We had a few issues that made this a pretty unpleasant experience. 1. We had a reservation for 5, and they stuck us at a table where there was no room for it. One person in our party (and another at an adjacent table) had to get up multiple times to let other customers pass. The servers and staff brushed her every time they passed. 2.
