Tarantino's - side

This was our second time trying Tarantino's. The first time we felt the food was bland for our tastes and the service was not good. Tried again last Friday hoping it was a bad night. Unfortunately the food and service were both below average. We ordered the meatballs but never received them. I let the server know and she was apologetic, and that was fine, again, accidents happen. Horrible experience, I had to wait 20 minutes even when I had a reservation. And when I got seated we were placed in a cold and loud area, and when our food arrived I found hairs in it. NOT COMING BACK.

Loved my food and wine. Salmon Vesuvio. Montepulciano wine, and coconut balls with berries and homemade chocolate sauce. Yummy!

Really nice bustling Italian restaurant with great food.

Sure, Armitage Alehouse is the restaurant currently hogging all the hype in this neighborhood, but don’t sleep on Tarantino’s, which has been a mainstay for 25+ years. It’s a charming family-owned Italian spot good for a casual date or dinner with friends, and it boasts some of the best service I’ve ever experienced.
