We trusted this restaurant to deliver a birthday surprise for our daughter and after all the effort they dropped the ball and failed to deliver. Our daughter was not provided the surprise from her parents who live in Miami. They did not even have the decency to call us and apologize for their lack of customer service. Do not plan any event at this place, they simply don't care!!

My daughter celebrated her 25th birthday with friends at Bar Takito…I arranged with the restaurant a special surprise and after all the effort they failed to deliver admitting they forgot. They demonstrated a total disregard of what was prearranged and did not even follow up with a phone call to apologize. Terrible customer service, would not recommend them!!!

Bar Takito has a casual atmosphere where you're going to want to hangout with friends, especially during the weekend. The delicious Mexican food as well as the drinks served there make it worthwhile to stop by and just let loose. I highly recommend coming here if you want good food and good vibes.

Went here with a friend last night with no expectations, and we had a lovely time. Unlike most places in the West Loop, we didn't have to yell to converse during dinner, and the playlist was a fun throwback to the mid-aughts. The food was tasty and presented beautifully. The drinks were delightful. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and its ingredients. You can tell the staff here take pride in their restaurant.
