Sweetwater Tavern Grille (michigan Plaza Chicago)

Food was excellent, server was fast and friendly, and speed of service was perfect for lunchtime. All around for the first time here, a great lunch spot to break up your day, but not take too much time away from work

Food was decent, the best thing on our tab was the chicken nachos. My husband fish tacos were decent he said but his popcorn chicken literally had no taste to them at all just breaded fried chicken. He got bbq sauce on the side really didn't make them any better. The spinach dip was a 6 out of 10. My only disappointment was the area we sat in the back was not clean there was food on the side of the booth between the booth and window. The other disappointment was the sprite I literally thought I was drinking water that was mixed with something like an old towel smell taste. I've never experienced a bad drink like this in my 44 years. Our waiter was great. He made a mistake on our order so he gave us fried pickles while we waited for the popcorn chicken but outside of that an ok place to eat while visiting downtown Chicago

This was such a “sweet” surprise in downtown Chicago! Omar made excellent suggestions and we throughly enjoyed our meal. Sweetwater was originally suggested to me as a lunch/brunch location but it was dinner that did it for me. I'll be back!

Food was wrong for a few of us. We had to tell waiter. Food tasted funky. Waiter never came back. Had to flag down someone for water or help. Freezing in restaurant. Very loud. Will not refer
