River North — Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Casual pizza restaurant serving traditional Chicago deep dish pizza. Very good deep dish pizza. The portions are large and quite filling. The service was good. Deep dish pizza takes around 45 minutes to cook so we ordered an appetizer to share.

Gluten free deep dish was great. Also was super confident I wouldn’t be glutened.

Loved this pizza and highly recommend for visiting Chicago. Our kids loved it and also gave it a high ranking. Our server made our sons birthday special by bringing out a skillet cookie! Everything was balanced and so flavorful. I also really liked the sausage was pressed into one solid piece across the whole pie to make sure each bite was the same. We hope to visit again someday!

Respectfully, this was possibly the worst deep dish I have ever had. The sauce and the cheese were almost separated. The sauce did not taste fresh. Takeout did not include parmesan nor pepper. Staff were nice though. And the dough was just crispy enough and nice.

Prompt, attentive service upon arrival to pick up take out order....Hot, fresh pizza, with an amazing crust. Will most definitely return soon!
