Pinched On The River - side

My very fun filled day out with a friend turned into a very disappointing experience when we dined in in this restaurant. My friend and I stopped here for late lunch. We requested to be seated by the canal at a non-rush hour(most tables were empty) but we were denied,as we were a party of two and those were tables of four. What a great place to get a good meal. Service and staff were super friendly and accommodating. We called ahead a got a reservation. It was a Saturday and they were pretty busy. The food was phenomenally delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more off of the menu.

I went here with my cousin while he was in town and loved every little bit of this place! Being located right on the water, the atmosphere felt quite Mediterranean. Oh, and with the exposed pipes in the ceiling, this charming little place was given a surprising splash of industrial flair. I love everything about this place; the food, the service, the location. We used to freqd uent the one in Lombard when we lived out there. The Lombard location closed since the pandemic. This location has the same flavorful menu and even more. We had the wings as an appetizer, which were great. I had the tangy chicken and he had the chicken shawarma. The flavors just dance in your mouth and I've never had brown rice taste soooo good!

Truly enjoyed our experience at Pinched on the River. Our bowls were fantastic and very filling. Thank you Jenni for your suggestions and consistency during our visit.
