Vaughans - Shropshire

This restaurant is beautiful, with a wonderful menu and friendly staff. We waited in line with a small group of people, which gave us time to look over the menu and see what others were ordering. We decided on the pork bap with stuffing, apple sauce, and crackling, which was delicious. The portion size was generous, the flavors were great, and the crackling was amazing. We also tried the box deal with stuffing, glazed potatoes, pork, and crackling, which was also fantastic. We enjoyed a refreshing pear drink as well. Personally, I like a bit more salt, but that's just my preference. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant.

Purchased a sandwich bap and a baguette, but unfortunately they did not have turkey, normal salad, or white sliced bread. I was charged nearly £12 for it, which I found to be a bit of a rip off.

During our first visit to Ludlow on a cold, rainy day, my husband, dog, and I stumbled upon Vaughan's Sandwich Bar. The mouth-watering aroma of a hog roast caught our attention, and we quickly joined the queue. The friendly staff served us delicious hog roast baps with a smile and even offered a sausage for our dog. This warm and welcoming experience at Vaughan's was just one of many in Ludlow, leaving us with a fantastic impression of the town. We will definitely be back for more of those delicious baps. We wished there was an option to add a touch of mustard for extra flavor. The menu also offers a variety of other sandwich and salad options to choose from. The service was good, efficient, and straightforward.

We almost overlooked this restaurant at first, drawn by the tempting display of hot boiled meat in the window. But upon returning, we noticed the baguette sandwiches and decided to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised, as the taste and quality of the baguette sandwich were beyond words. The menu also includes options for hot sandwiches with various fillings, such as local Ludlow sausages, as well as cold fillings. Do not pass up the opportunity to visit this gem of a shop.
