Lovely pub, comfortable atmosphere,very attentive polite staff and the food was great. Will definitely pop in next time we are in the area.

Booked a table for two very last minute for 2.30pm. Staff always happy to accommodate where at all possible. You certainly need to book in advance. Very busy indeed but this did not affect the quality service and attention to detail from staff. The food was amazing as always. Choice of 4 roasts and all the trimmings. Had a lovely chat with Geoff (head chef) today along with the manageress. This is one pub that we are always happy to travel 25 minutes to. Cant fault a thing. Thank you everyone. Nikki Kev x

Chicken was dry and jacked potato was over cooked and the manager was rude when we complained about it, don’t think we will be going back

Loved the place, went last night and met donna who was very friendly and warm, and welcoming and very helpful and made us feel welcome to the place, we thought she was the manager she was that good. Thank you for your service

A varied menu with large plates of food but option to have lighter bites. Enjoyed the beer. Good value for money and a nice warm interior and a bonus it’s dog friendly.
